DAY 1
Arrival in Sofia. Transfer and accommodation. Dinner in a traditional folklore restaurant. Overnight

DAY 2
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Sofia, including visit to St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Russian church, “St George” Rotunda. Departure to Plovdiv –the second largest Bulgarian city with a quite attractive ancient quarter. Accommodation. Dinner with wine-tasting at “Hebros” Restaurant in the Old Town of Plovdiv. Overnight.

DAY 3
Breakfast. Walking tour in the Old Town of Plovdiv. Departure to Pamporovo - second largest ski resort in Bulgaria. Visit to Bachkovo Monastery on the way to Pamporovo. Accommodation. Dinner in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant with cheverme (lamb roasted on a skewer) and other local specialties, accompanied with live folklore music and traditional show. Overnight.

DAY 4
Breakfast. Departure to the village of Smilian. Tasting of a seven types of Bulgarian cheese with a glass of Bulgarian wine. The highlight of the tour is cheese tasting and demonstration of old and quite interesting methods of butter making. Lunch. Departure to Devin balneology resort. Visit to the village of Shiroka Laka – a museum of architectural and ethnographical values, popular for its original Rhodope style, music and traditions. Arrival in Devin. Accommodation. Overnight.

DAY 5
Breakfast. Departure to Bansko – one of the largest ski resorts in Bulgaria and an architectural reserve too. A stop in the small village of Leshten on the way to Bansko. Leshten is unique with its authentic complex of restored houses with typical for the Rhodope Mountains architecture and interior. Sightseeing tour of the village. Lunch. Accommodation in Bansko. Free time. Dinner at traditional restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 6
Breakfast. Walking tour in Bansko. Departure to Sandanski. Accommodation. Visit to Melnik - the smallest and one of the most fascinating town museums in Bulgaria. Walking and sightseeing in Melnik and Rozhen Monastery. Traditional dinner with wine-tasting at a typical folklore restaurant. Overnight in Sandanski.

DAY 7
Breakfast. Visit to the magnificent Rila Monastery (the most remarkable Orthodox Monastery in Bulgaria, included in UNESCO’s list of cultural values with world significance). Sightseeing tour. Departure to Sofia. Accommodation. Free time. Overnight.

DAY 8
Breakfast and transfer to Sofia Airport for departure
